Gather your family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, clubs, or organizations and prepare to explore the rich history, landmarks, businesses, parks, and hidden gems throughout Stony Point, NY!

Clues become available beginning:  Friday, May 22, 2026

All clue submissions are due no later than:  Wednesday, July 8, 2026

Awards, recognition, and prizes are scheduled to be announced during the America 250 Carnival on:  Thursday, July 9, 2026

Hidden Liberty Bells will also begin appearing throughout local businesses during the event!

Take a tour through Stony Point and see how our residents and businesses are celebrating America's 250th Anniversary!

- Visit patriotic home displays
- See participating business displays
- Explore the interactive decorating map
- Vote for your favorites in the Family Choice Awards

Many of the displays have incorporated special lighting features that are best viewed after dark, making this a great evening activity for families and friends.

Displays will remain on view through July 4, 2026.

Voting is open now through July 6, 2026, with winners to be announced on July 8, 2026 at the opening night of the Town of Stony Point America 250 Carnival

America’s 250th Birthday Carnival Celebration:

 

The Town of Stony Point is presenting a Carnival Celebration in honor of America’s 250 Birthday! This "once-in-a-lifetime" community event, which commemorates 250 years of American Independence, is scheduled for July 8, 9, 10, and 11, 2026.
