*Additional fees apply whether same owner commences work without a permit on any parcel or a contractor commences work without a permit on any parcel. Payment of additional fees for working without a permit does not preclude the Town's right to prosecute a violation of the Town Code or State Building and Fire Codes or take any other action permitted under law.

When applying for a building permit, please see the application check list so that you are prepared with the appropriate documents.

 

To apply for a Building Permit, you must complete the following forms in addition to the Building Permit Application: 

• Homeowner's Acknowledgement 
• Workers Comp Insurance Affidavit of Exemption  – required if the homeowner is completing the work

Upon completion of work, you must complete the following form: 

• Certificate of Occupancy/Compliance Application
